Automate TikTok with Claude Code
TikTok is the only video platform here that will take a landscape or a square cut, not just a vertical one.

What is different about TikTok

TikTok accepts 9:16, 16:9 and 1:1. YouTube Shorts takes 9:16 and nothing else, so a cut that posts here will not always go straight to Shorts, and the agent checks before it tries.
One video, and that is the whole post
No images, no carousel, no text-only post. If you ask for a set, the agent tells you at the drafting step rather than building something the publisher will reject.
The largest frame of any platform here
Up to 4096 by 4096, the highest resolution ceiling Antwork will accept anywhere, with ten minutes of runtime at 4 GB. Nothing you export will be too detailed for it.
More caption than the format suggests
The caption runs to 2,200 characters, the same as Instagram. Almost nobody uses it, which is most of the reason a written hook does well here.
Questions
- Do I need an API key to connect Claude Code?
- No. Antwork connects over OAuth — you approve a consent screen in the browser and you are done. There is no key to generate or paste into a URL, which is how most social MCP servers handle it.
- Do I need a paid account?
- No. Your first two connected accounts are free forever, with unlimited posts and workspaces, and there is no plan gate on MCP access.
- Will Claude Code post without showing me first?
- Not unless you ask it to. Drafting and publishing are two separate steps: the agent writes, renders the post card, and only publishes when you confirm.
- Does the writing sound like AI?
- Antwork hands the agent that account's recent posts, along with how each performed, and the agent writes to match them. On TikTok that includes writing to the length the format rewards, up to 2,200 characters.
