Automate your socials with ChatGPT
ChatGPT reaches Antwork through an app you create in Developer mode. It takes about a minute: switch the mode on, add Antwork's server URL, and sign in. There is no API key at any point.

Without it the Plugins page has no + and there is nothing to paste the URL into. OpenAI lists it for Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu on the web (not the mobile apps), though a Free account completed this setup when we tested it on 26 September 2026. On a work account your admin may have to allow it. If you can't find the switch, Claude connects in one click instead.

Every screen is a real recording of ChatGPT and Antwork, made on 26 September 2026. Only the cursor, zooms and captions are added.

https://api.antwork.io/mcpantworkThe server speaks Streamable HTTP and authenticates with OAuth 2.1, using dynamic client registration and PKCE. ChatGPT handles the token exchange for you — all you see is a browser consent screen.
If it does not work
The three things that go wrong most often when connecting ChatGPT:
- ›Antwork's tools do not appear — restart ChatGPT after installing. Most clients only read their MCP configuration at startup.
- ›The consent screen keeps reappearing — the session expired or the grant was revoked. Approve it once more; grants last 30 days and refresh silently while you keep using them.
- ›The tools answer but report no accounts — the workspace exists, but no social account is connected to it yet. Connect one in the Antwork web app first.
Questions
- Why is there no + on ChatGPT's Plugins page?
- Developer mode is off. Open Settings, then Security and login, and switch on Developer mode. The + appears on the Plugins page straight away.
- Which ChatGPT plans can connect Antwork?
- OpenAI lists Developer mode for Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu, on the web rather than the mobile apps. A Free account completed this setup when we tested it on 26 September 2026. On a work account your admin may have to allow it.
- ChatGPT says the connector name already exists. What now?
- Give it another name, such as antwork-io. The name only labels the app inside ChatGPT; it connects to the same Antwork account either way.
- Will ChatGPT post anything without asking me?
- No. Antwork's tools create drafts, and scheduling or publishing is a separate step you ask for. ChatGPT also asks for your permission before an app writes anything, with Allow once or Always allow.
- Do I need an API key?
- No. You sign in to Antwork on its own consent page and approve the permissions ChatGPT asks for. You can revoke the connection any time from Settings, then Connected apps, in Antwork.
