Post to your socials from Zapier

Antwork’s Zapier app turns any trigger, a new sheet row, a form answer, an RSS item, into a draft for one of your social accounts. A Zap creates drafts by default. A post only goes out when the Zap has a Schedule Post or Publish Post step for it, or when you send it from Antwork.

Private beta: the app is invite-only on Zapier for now. It connects with an Antwork API key, not MCP.

Setup

Three steps, then build any Zap.

You need an Antwork account with at least one social account connected. The key is created once and pasted into Zapier.

  1. 1Accept the inviteOpen the invite link while signed in to Zapier and accept it. Antwork then shows up among your apps when you add a step to a Zap.
  2. 2Create an Antwork API keyIn Antwork, open your workspace, then Settings, Developer, Manage API keys. Name the key Zapier and copy it straight away: it starts with ak_ and is shown once.
  3. 3Add an Antwork stepIn your Zap, add an Antwork action, connect a new account and paste the key into API Key. Pick the workspace and the social account, and map the text from your trigger.
What the app does

One trigger, three actions, one search.

Create Draft Post is the step most Zaps need. The two sending steps are there for the Zaps you trust to post on their own.

  • ActionCreate Draft PostSaves a draft for one social account, with optional media URLs and a proposed time. It never publishes, whatever the trigger sends.
  • ActionSchedule PostSchedules an existing post for a time up to 30 days ahead. It goes public on the social account at that time.
  • ActionPublish Post Now (Goes Public)Publishes an existing post right away. It is public as soon as the step runs.
  • SearchFind PostLooks a post up by its ID, so a later step can check it before sending.
  • TriggerNew Published PostStarts a Zap when a post goes live through Antwork, on one account or all of them. Zapier polls for it, so it runs minutes after, not the same second.

Drafts first

Nothing goes public unless you build the step that sends it.

  • Every Zap starts with a draftCreate Draft Post always saves a draft. Proposed Time only stores a time on it; it does not schedule anything. The draft waits in Antwork with a link to edit it.
  • Sending is its own stepOnly Schedule Post or Publish Post Now sends a post. Leave them out and you review and publish every draft from Antwork yourself.
  • One account per stepEach draft is for one social account. To post an idea on several accounts, add a step per account with text written for that platform.
Questions

Before you build the Zap.

Can anyone use the Antwork app on Zapier?
Not from Zapier’s app directory yet. The app is private and in beta, so you join through the invite link on this page. Once accepted, it works like any other app in your Zaps.
Will a Zap publish without my approval?
No. Create Draft Post only saves a draft. A post goes out only if the Zap includes a Schedule Post or Publish Post Now step for it, so leaving those steps out means every post waits for you in Antwork.
Does it use MCP like the AI apps?
No. The Zapier app calls Antwork’s REST API with an API key, and the text comes from your Zap. To have an AI write the post in your account’s voice, use n8n or Make, which reach Antwork over MCP, or connect an AI app directly.
Which social networks does it work with?
Every network Antwork publishes to: X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Bluesky, Discord, Mastodon and Telegram. TikTok posts can be drafted from Zapier; you choose their TikTok settings and send them from Antwork.
What does it cost?
Nothing extra. Antwork’s first 2 connected social accounts are free, and each one after that is billed per account. Zaps also count against your own Zapier plan.
