Automate Facebook with Claude

Facebook gives you more room than every other platform here combined, and the smallest image ceiling of any of them.

Claude connects to Antwork as a custom connector: one URL pasted into the Add custom connector dialog, then a browser authorization. The same connector works in Claude Desktop once you are signed in.

Custom connectors need Claude Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise.

Connect it

01Open the connector dialogClaude opens its Add custom connector dialog with the MCP URL already on your clipboard, so there is nothing to retype.
02Name it and paste the URLSet the name to antwork, paste the URL into Remote MCP server URL, leave Advanced settings empty, and click Add.
03Authorize, then connect the social accountApproving the OAuth screen makes the connection live. Ask Claude to connect your account and it renders a panel with a button per platform.

What you can say once Facebook is connected

Write a Facebook post about this announcement, long form, in my voice.
Take these six product photos and put them in one Facebook post scheduled for Thursday.
Rewrite my last Facebook post as something shorter and show me both.
What has performed best on Facebook over the last month?

You see it before it goes out

Antwork does not answer with a wall of text. It renders real, clickable panels inside Claude — the same interface you would get in a dashboard, in the conversation you are already in. No other social tool does this.

  • 01A post card with the draft, editable in place, with the publish and schedule buttons on it
  • 02A month calendar of everything scheduled across every connected account
  • 03Your media library as a thumbnail grid you can attach from
  • 04A connections panel with a Connect button per platform
  • 05A table of recent posts you can click into

Shipped something small this week that fixed a big thing. Our token refresh ran daily but checked Facebook against a five minute expiry window, so it could only ever catch a token that happened to die inside those five minutes. It never did. Accounts just went quiet.

What is different about Facebook

Only here

Room you will never fill

Facebook takes sixty three thousand characters, more than twenty times what LinkedIn allows. The agent writes to what the post needs rather than to a ceiling, because here the ceiling is not a real constraint.

Only here

The image ceiling is link-preview sized

Facebook's image ceiling is 1200 by 630, the smallest of any platform Antwork posts to. Anything larger leans on their resize, so the agent says so before it attaches rather than after it looks soft in the feed.

Only here

It takes formats nothing else will

Facebook is the only platform here that accepts .bmp, it takes .webp, and it will read nine different video containers. If you have an awkward file left over from somewhere else, this is where it goes through.

Only here

Ten images, or one video

A post can carry ten images. It cannot carry images and a video at once, so a mixed batch becomes two posts and the agent tells you which is which.

Questions

Do I need an API key to connect Claude?
No. Antwork connects over OAuth — you approve a consent screen in the browser and you are done. There is no key to generate or paste into a URL, which is how most social MCP servers handle it.
Do I need a paid account?
No. The free tier covers one workspace, two connected accounts and 20 posts per cycle, and there is no plan gate on MCP access.
Will Claude post without showing me first?
Not unless you ask it to. Drafting and publishing are two separate steps: the agent writes, renders the post card, and only publishes when you confirm.
Does the writing sound like AI?
Antwork learns a voice profile per connected account by reading what you have already published there, and the agent drafts from that profile. On Facebook that includes writing to the length the format rewards, up to 63,206 characters.

Never leave Claude to post again.

One command, one consent screen, and Facebook is something you can just ask for.
