Which one to use

Picking a LinkedIn size

The banner is the one people get wrong, because there are two. A personal profile takes 1584 × 396 at 4:1, and a company page takes 1128 × 191 at 5.9:1. Different ratios, so one file will not fit both.

In the feed, a single image post and a shared link preview both use 1200 × 627. Carousel slides are square at 1080 × 1080, and the profile picture is uploaded at 400 × 400.

Before you export

Make one banner for your profile and another for your company page. The ratios differ, so a crop of one will not suit the other.

Keep the left side of a profile banner quiet. Your profile picture sits over it.

Put any text on a banner near the middle, where both the desktop site and the app show it.
