Connect Antwork to ChatGPT

Add the Antwork MCP server to ChatGPT, approve OAuth once, and draft, schedule and publish social posts without leaving the chat.

Install in ChatGPT

Register the Antwork server URL in ChatGPT, then approve OAuth in your browser when prompted. That is the whole setup — nothing to download, no API key to paste.

Server details

Server URL

https://api.antwork.io/mcp

Server name

antwork

The server speaks Streamable HTTP and authenticates with OAuth 2.1, using dynamic client registration and PKCE. ChatGPT handles the token exchange for you — all you see is a browser consent screen.

What to ask ChatGPT once it is connected

Antwork exposes 40 tools. You never call them directly — you describe what you want and ChatGPT picks the right ones. Worth trying first:

  • Draft a LinkedIn post about the feature I just shipped, in my usual voice.
  • Schedule that for Tuesday at 9am and show me the week's calendar.
  • What were my three best performing posts last month, and what did they have in common?
  • Turn this blog post into a thread for X and a shorter version for Threads.
  • Which of my connected accounts have not posted in the last two weeks?

Drafting never publishes on its own. Creating a post and sending it are separate steps, so you always get to read a draft before it goes out.

If it does not work

The three things that go wrong most often when connecting ChatGPT:

  • Antwork's tools do not appear — restart ChatGPT after installing. Most clients only read their MCP configuration at startup.
  • The consent screen keeps reappearing — the session expired or the grant was revoked. Approve it once more; grants last 30 days and refresh silently while you keep using them.
  • The tools answer but report no accounts — the workspace exists, but no social account is connected to it yet. Connect one in the Antwork web app first.

For OAuth scopes, the full tool catalog and the rest of the troubleshooting list, see the Full MCP server reference.

The same server works everywhere. Setup for the rest:
